Kirsten Schrader is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant as well as an ATC who works with Dr. David Thompson. Prior to working in the clinical setting, Kirsten was the head athletic trainer for Pfeiffer University, Queens University of Charlotte, Lee College in Baytown, TX, as well as Guilford College. She decided to have a career change due to the long hours in the university setting which brought her to clinical care.
Kirsten has a MS in Health, Wellness, Physical Education and Recreation with an emphasis on exercise physiology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She was born in NY, but moved to Greensboro when she was 9 where she now resides with her husband of 21 years, Jason, her daughters, Millie and Sophie and her 2 dogs, Jack and Whiskey. She enjoys fitness, sports, kayaking, hiking and cycling.
