Amber Porterfield, PA-C (formerly Amber Constable) was born and raised in the Greensboro area.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science.  She then moved to Nashville, TN to attend Trevecca Nazarene University, where she obtained her Masters of Medicine in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012.

Amber has most recently worked in pain management in Raleigh, NC but relocated to Greensboro to return to work in orthopedic surgery.  She has over eight years of experience, in both general orthopedics, as well as total joint replacement specifically.

Amber is passionate about living an active lifestyle, including lifting weights and running.  She lives in Greensboro with her husband Brandon and their German Shepherd Bohdi.
