Kirsten Martine Schrader is an OPA-C and ATC/L who works with Dr. David Thompson. She spent 20 years as a Head Athletic Trainer at various DII, and DIII universities and colleges, and taught university/college classes including exercise physiology, health and wellness, stress management, and care and prevention of athletic injury throughout her career. She began working with Dr. Thompson in 2015.

Kirsten has an MS in Health, Wellness, PE, and Recreation with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology from The University of Nebraska- Omaha. She was originally born in NY and lived there until she was 9, when she moved to Greensboro. She has lived in Omaha, NE, Waldorf, MD, Houston TX, Charlotte, NC and finally is settled here in Greensboro which she calls home along with 2 daughters and 4 dogs. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, cycling, SUP and time in the mountains or on a lake.
