Dr. Dalldorf is a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of North Carolina Medical School, he completed his residency at the University of Rochester followed by a sports medicine fellowship in Houston, Texas. During his time in Houston, he was a team doctor for the Houston Astros, Houston Oilers, and Houston Rockets, and has continued those responsibilities as the team orthopedist for North Carolina A&T. Peter joined the Guilford Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Division of Southeastern Orthopedic Specialists in 1994.

Dr Dalldorf brings over 20 years of expertise and experience to his practice and prides himself on developing caring relationships with his patients. He specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy in addition to hip and knee replacements with a concentration on anterior hip replacement. He also performs general orthopedic care of fractures, hand issues, and foot problems. Treating all types of orthopedic injuries and illnesses for over 20 years, Dr. Dalldorf is dedicated to diagnosing and effectively treating orthopedic injuries and trauma so that his patients can return to active lifestyles as soon as possible.

Dr. Dalldorf is active in the medical community as an adjunct professor at UNC and is currently the President of the medical staff at the Surgical Center of Greensboro. He also assists in the supervision of a sports medicine fellowship through UNC-Chapel Hill and Cone Hospital. Dr. Dalldorf is married to Christi and has four children (the oldest in medical school and the youngest at Page High School). He is active in the community and especially enjoys his time at Greensboro Urban Ministry. He plays USTA tennis for any team that will accept him.
